Rita Coolidge started her career as a background artist in Memphis. Later, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Prior to that, she also attended Maplewood High School.
She completed her High School education at Andrew Jackson Senior High in Jacksonville. Priscilla is also a music artist by profession. She has three siblings including two sisters, Linda and Priscilla, and a brother, Raymond. father, Dick Coolidge was a minister whereas her mother, Charlotte Coolidge was a schoolteacher. Last, on the 8th of June 2020, Rita released the Rock album, Everybody Loves A Winner.
